Allen Hinds Discussion

Hi,
New here. I am totally grooving to "On Ramp" and was wondering if anyone knew what amps Allen uses. He has a link to Bogner on his web page but Bogner builds several models. I am a bit of a gear head and like many of you have a love/hate relationship with my amp a Rivera Quiana Studio 112, sometimes I think it sounds great and other times I want to kick it across the stage. I love the way Allen sounds and am curious as to what he uses. Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen videos where he was using a Fender Deluxe Reverb (Silverface if I remember well). I think he also uses a Fuchs ODS, maybe a Dr Z as well.

Lately he used a Dr.Z 6545 Top (they don't make this model anymore) and a Bogner Combo (not sure which one). He mentioned once that he found the Fuchs to be a bit to compressed sounding for his style. Don't know if he still has it.

Yeah, you can see the Bogner in the lastest videos posted on Xotic's website (great videos by the way, almost 1 hour of Allen Hinds live !).
Looks like either a Shiva or a Duende, not sure which one it is.
