Hi Allen, I am watching the instructional DVD you did and I love the tone you have!!! (and your licks!) Can you tell me what kind of pickups are on your black strat? And are you using the RC and AC booster on that DVD or some other pedal and though reading the other posts I've gathered that you have an old Fender Deluxe. Again, is that what I'm hearing on this DVD? I also saw some Lava Le' Clips and you were playing a Les Paul and again, the tone was incredible, can you answer the same questions on that guitar as far as pickups and pedals and amp you were using on those clips. I need to just come and see you at a gig but you're not at La Va Lee (I can't remember how they spell that club name...) anyway, you're not there till January 4th. That's 1 1/2 months away! I would love to be able to maybe get the same pickups and pedals cause I just love your tone. I know alot of it is your touch but I would at least like to get close to what I'm hearing on this DVD. Thanks in advance to Allen or anyone who knows the answers to these gear questions.
