Hi guys!
This is my first post here. I think you(Allen) is one of the best guitarists i`ve ever heard!- I dont know how many times ive watched the "Xotic effects videos" just to hear you play some notes! Extremely inspiring!
Love The Tone and note choice!and rythm, maaan this guy groove...

Anyway, just doing my regular update check on your site, and saw the advertisment `bout this dvd.

I recently bought a copy of the dvd,its good and you can tell that Allen is a good Teacher,just a little disapointed that there isnt more info on it.

Great lesson...but i`ve heard rumors of a dvd number 2?
anybody can confirm this?

hi to everyone. the dvd by alllen hinds is real good. alot of information to help improve your playing. its helping me alot in regards to my picking because i have a light touch as well. so to see him play smooth fluid lines and phrase is real incouraging to me. also using motifs. i always called it repetative phrasing but it is the best way to hook the listener in. he has that warm tone we all want to have and part of that tone seems to be the brushing of the strings technique he uses. not digging in but play real even.real nice tone. i would hope later dvd's come with on screen tab and more insight on chords and the different voicing the players use. but you can get that info from ted greens books and allen holdsworth.. search for the uncommon chord. any way when you learn all this stuff you got to go and make the best music you can. its a life time goal. later gill

hey guys...i havent heard anything of the new allen dvd...and its gone a couple of weeks.. i kinda hoped santa was bringing it for christmas Wink

anybody know about a release date, or pre-order?
anything?
