Hi, this may or may not have been mentioned before but I like the way brett sometimes uses partial harmonics to give his melodies a bit more impact - correct me if Im wrong but most of Fu'd Fight melody is done using this technique.

Oh and does anybody know the speedy bit about 1 min it before it drops down to bass? my efforts to tab it go like this

but watching the live performance off Rock improvisation it looks completely different... Confused

Yeah, he often uses the octave harmonic for melodies. It's nice cause it has a different sound than jjust playing one octave higher.
I saw Steve Morse doing it sometimes as well, though Morse holds the pick between thumb an middle finger and puts the index finger over the 'harmonic' point, whereas Brett seems to play them as pinch harmonics.
