Can't quite believe this, but I just came across this cover of John Farnham's You're the Voice by legendary German metal band Blind Guardian http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fV8TKkjRjlk.
Blind Guardian have a reputation for slightly odd cover songs, past efforts include Surfin' USA (Beach Boys), Barbara Anne/Long Tall Sally (The Regents/Little Richard), To France (Mike Oldfield) and Mr Sandman (Pat Ballard).

I for one love Blind Guardian and really enjoy these guys paying tribute to an Aussie anthem (and an indirect reference to Brett).
Anyway, enjoy guys (or not haha).

I particularly like it man, those chorus have been always a trademark by Blind Guardian, although their albums turned quite repetitive after the masterpiece Imaginations From the Other Side.
