I'm hoping to get a Crunch Box very soon. Will keep y'all posted although I'm sure it'll be great.

It's a really good pedal. It's pretty easy getting either AC/DC or Van Halen tones out it. It has less gain than the Tube Zone, but more than the Blueboy. Plus there is a little more mids to this pedal, but these are usable unlike many TS style pedals. The high-end is different as well. The high-end really gives that Mashall in a box feel. I like this thing way more than the Tonebone Hot British I use to own.
I only use the gain on 10:00 and thats plenty enough for me.

How does it fair into an already driven amp? The TS seems better than the TZ at this. The only bad thing about the TZ in my opinion. Cool

This pedal is freaking loud!!!!!!!! "IF" needed to be. So if you lower the gain and push the volume it drives an amp pretty good compared to what one would think of a distortion pedal. I ran it through a Flexi 50 and a Peavey JSX and it sounded good through both. It's main purpose is still as a distortion box though.

holy mother of crap. This is the BEST distortion pedal I've ever heard/used.

I had a boss mt2 and have always hated it.. thought I'd go the plunge and order one of these and see how it goes.

I've already got the tube zone and that's great.. but this pedal is AMAZING.

brett, thanks for making us all aware of michael's gear! by the look of the amount of orders he's now getting, it seems the word is getting around (more than he can keep up demand!)

Smile

Well that settles it, I'm getting one. Looks like the perfect companion to the TZ... Very Happy
