When I first got my copy of Rock Fusion, Brett signed the dvd for me before he sent it. There isn't anything wrong with it, or on the surface, but it's starting to crackle in my speakers. I have over 150 music dvd's and they all work fine, but Brett's dvd has been crackling for the last few months. It's mostly on the concert part, but it's getting worse. I have cleaned my dvd player, and even tried it on a different dvd player at a friends house. It's still crackling in the sound department. The pic looks fine though.
Anyone have a clue why this is happening? I have turned so me people onto Brett by this dvd, I would hate for it to mess up since it's my favorite dvd I own.
Sad

I assume since there's no Rock Fusion DVD that you're referring to the Rock Improvisation disc. Either way, it sounds like a strange problem. Has it always done this? Or did it start some time after you first received it? I can imagine a few scenarios that might cause this, but not in the case of seeing the problem on more than one player. Can you tell us a bit more about the gear you've tried it on?

Yes it's the Rock Improvisation dvd. I got mine when they first came out. It worked fine with no problems at all for the longest time. I collect music dvds. Like I said, I have over 150 concerts on dvd, not including the behind the music or bio's of different artist. It started a few months ago very lightly. At first I thought I blew my speakers on my surround sound system, but then I put 'anything' else in and it played and sounded fine. The more and more time went on, the more noticeable the crackle became. I have no clue. So, I took it over to my friend Donnie's house. It did the same thing on his dvd player. The pic never skipped, but the audio crackled and popped. There isn't any major scratches on it. I have no clue why it's doing what it's doing.

Brett contacted me, I guess he still has everyone on file It's already worked out. Thank you for the help though.
