Give me a break.. is that an awesome tune or what? The guitar solo is off the charts, the tones, the lyrics, Jimi's voice, the tune....

When I was about 14 I got my jazz cat dad to work that out for me (pre tab days ya know). Well, my chet-loving jazz snob dad couldn't do it because he swore that two guitars must be playing the rhythm
Love it...the zylophone tones are what really get me...so simple but perfect. |

some young, english jazz piano guy, I forget his name, has a nice redition of this song. I saw him and his group perform it on the tv show 'austin city limits'.

That'd probably be Jamie Cullum. I wish him to burn in hell. _________________ http://jimihendrix.suddenlaunch.com |

I love that song to death. One of my DVD's has a B&W video clip of them doing it and it's just gorgeous. One of my favourite singing voices of all time. |
