Sorry bit old. But interesting.
Sounds like the old RAH footage (bootlegs on you tube). I would have thought that would be better to go with the concert footage. I tend to find the unreleased BOG stuff not as good as the original live album Hendrix produced. I think there is material he left out for a reason. But let's see still no date for RAH release I notice. |

Nice find and good info. What bugs me is that along with a high quality RAH release why has there never been a high quality release of the Winterland shows. That would be a really good package to have all 6 shows in an official Hendrix estate cd package. |

I know. But then we woke up.
I suspect that maybe the concert and footage is to be released separately as this is more lucrative for the estate. I just wish the music didnt have to suffer and the legacy was protected with some integrity.
I guess we just need Jimi to come back and reproduce all the later releases.!
I am not holding my breath for the BOG stuff but you never know.
I really wish they would find someway to undelete Rainbow Bridge and re-issue it again. Thats what i wish-it would be nice to have it on CD altogether. Its the only thing Mike Jefferys actualy managed to get right. |

You never know what the people at Experience Hendrix are planning in terms of releasing the RAH concert and the rest of the BOG shows. I wouldn't hold my breath because Janie will put them out at her own leisure. _________________ Robert L. Watson |

Yeah and by that time we'll all be dead or too old and our hearing will be shot! |

Janie and Experience Hendrix are notorious for holding things off until it fits their leisure. _________________ Robert L. Watson |

Like not shure how much stuff they have left to release, like what they have yea maybe doing so slowly. But i would rather it while im still alive too,and after all out, shure will re-release things,or they have the merchandise still and older albums etc...which always sell still. _________________ Christopher |
