this guy is good but so is Steve Via.
I wish I could play like Govan, but when I found
the blues I realised that a note on the guitar is
big to the ear! A single bend the right way could
feel right .
Feeling is what its about.
Guitarist should feel good no matter what level.
David Gilmour express my point.

I assume you are talking about Guthrie Govan. Yes, he is very good. I have read both of his Advanced Technique books. They have really helped me with my theory Knowledge.

I dont think he can really be compared to Vai because ultimately he is looking for a differant aproach and Sound to Vai but on pure ability, he is up there with the best
