same JID show as yesterday, 2/23/98.
You must post the correct answer here on the board. I'll do a drawing from all the correct answers given, and I'll post the winner here.
What type of guitar did Jimmy use most often when playing with The Codetalkers? _________________

I would like to seem them include covers. Some of my favorite live performances include a show where a band does some covers. Of course, the key is for a band to do a cover they can make their own, one that almost should have been done by them, as oppossed to just copying a tune note for note.
What made me appreciate covers...A particular great local band of many years ago played covers during the first two sets; their final set would consist of all originals. By the way, they had genuine "rock star" charisma without trying on stage; a smoking singer, guitar player, and drummer. Anyway, they eventually came up with more great originals and their shows evolved into all sets consisting of originals with one or two killer/most popular covers thrown in at the end. As they got away from covers, I missed hearing them because they're versions were usually better than the original tunes.
anywhoo... |
