that's a hot looking guitar. What benefit does having the 12+ fret scalloped give you?

It gives a bit brighter tone, a bit more zing, and the ability to sustain a note longer.

I like a guitar with zing.

I have a Yamaha Pacifica cheapo strat. The Warmouth neck it came with has jumbo frets on it and I really like them. When I play my other guitars I am always wishing for the jumbo frets on them. Makes it so much easier to play. I notice that JH generally uses the jumbo fret wire- Dunlop 6000. I think that came on the Yngwie sig model which also had scalloped frets.

You can get any fret wire desired on a custom build.
