Ok. I'm not a Dead/PhilLesh fan, but I do like many parts of this show. I like this Phil Lesh ensemble more than previous ones. Chris Robinson on vocals is what Phil needs. So soulful. And Jimmy seems able to be Jimmy more than previously. Of course, not every song is Project Z-esque, but there are many tunes where Project Z or ARU fans will like to the way Jimmy is presented burns.

I think one reason I like this versin of Phil Lesh more is best described from http://web1.nugs.net/phil/04dec.asp..."The power trio of Phil, Jimmy, and Molo were simply unstoppable. Hearing Jimmy on his own without Warren's dominant (but awe-inspiring) tone was a treat. It's great to see Jimmy in the spotlight ripping out spiraling leads...". With all due respect to Warren, of course, Jimmy shines brighter without him.

Anyway, check out this show from the live music archive. It has mp3s for quick download/sampling as well as lossless formats.
