Jimmy Herring Discussion

My college buddy was in Tampa for a nearly rained-out show at Skipper's, a small outdoor venue. Jimmy played an acoustic guitar all night! He said there were two tapers, so maybe this show will surface. He says Jimmy sounded great and that compared to the shows with The Codetalkers that have surfaced in the last week, this would be one to have so I hope it turns up. WOW! Wish I was there or that The Codetalkers decide to do something like that again...maybe at Jazz fest?!?!?!? I would love to hear them open acoustic and then have Jimmy go back electric---has anyone ever heard him play acoustic?

Was anyone there who knows the tapers???

WOW..this is the first I've heard of this. I wonder if he had to go acoustic because of the rain?
