I have a live ABB show from 9-23-00 with Herring and Trucks on guitars. Wow!

The best Allman guitar combo since Duane and Dickey! Herring just lights it up and Derek's slide is off the charts!

Does anyone know Herring's start and end dates with the ABB. I need to track down more of these shows!

Jimmy Herring took over for Dickey starting on 6/16/00 and played on all dates through Septeber of the 2000 tour.

Why did he leave?

Did he go to Phil and Friends right after that?

Yeah, he left because he had the offer to do Phil and Friends which he thought offered him more that the gig with the Brothers did. Also Warren Haynes had said that he was available to go back to the ABB.

where are you getting this great allman bros recordings? I get a lot of kimock music and others off Llama, but have not really gotten into the trading thing. Are you getting these by trading with other tapers?

can I send you blanks to make copies?
