AbstractLogix.com will be releasing the second Installment of Project Z -
The Lincoln Memorial , featuring Jimmy Herring, Jeff Sipe (Apt Q -258), Late Ricky Keller( Lincoln Metcalf), Jason Crosby, and Greg Osby.
When I first heard the record, I was pleasantly shocked. The music is just far out !! Personally, I have yet to hear this level of improvisation from these guys to date, and I have been seeing these guys since 1991. I dont think they have ventured out to the left this much before.
There are super thrills, pyrotechnics and plenty of madness but most importantly it all makes sense.
It will be released in September. Already in the works is a tour with Jimmy Herring, Matthew Garrison, Jeff Sipe and Bobby Lee Rodgers.
The Offical Jimmy Herring Website(www.jimmyherring.net) will be up and running in July !!
