Have you heard anything about Bobby? Do you think it's really "exhaustion" or is there more going on there?

I've heard absolutely zero.

I'm SURE its exhaustion, or something related. Phil was smart enough to give himself time, poor Bob has been going full on for a LONG time now.

Much deserved rest to those pipes too...,they were sounding rough this summer.

Hey now..its jaystraw not Jimmy.

FYI...I'm not actually sure that contract rumor is true. I think WARREN did not re-sign, adn somehow it came out of the rumor-mill as Jimmy.

After these PLF shows recently, I think Jimmy will stick around. I hope so!!

The impression I got when I talked to Jimmy is - that Summer '04 Dead gig was made for him. He gets to REALLY stretch his soloing. And I could tell the Deadheads thought he was impressive.

I think Jimmy is actually very emotional. ..especially up close!! He makes quite a few facial expressions and seems very involved in his groove.

rock on Jimmy!

i dont really have clue but i always just thought about Mr. Herring and D. Trucks the same...very reserved and humble guys from the south who express whats inside by going nuts on a neck not so much with ego stuff....i miss the south. lol

I think it's about being completely "centered", as Derek Trucks does the same. The two of them are some of the finest guitarists I've ever seen or heard. Jimmy does a lot of smiling on stage though and it's obvious (to me) that he loves what he's doing. And I'm so glad he does! What a tremendous talent he is. Exclamation
