i saw jimmy with dragonfly here in charlotte. a real good show. strong songs and lots of room for solos and just having fun........talked to jimmy for a while. he is a great guy to talk to and always wanting to help out with a guitar question you may have or just guitar in general. he loves scotty anderson and his banjo right hand style of playing. the dragonflys did a cover of DIG A PONY by the BEATLES . sounded great....... he played george harrison solo to the note and i thought that was the coolest thing he could have done. it was like paying his respect to george. Jimmy could have wailed over those changes but he nailed the solo and the atitude that goes with it. THAT'S WORLD CLASS IN MY OPINION. playing the music and making it happen. I got the impression he doesn't see himself as a star or rock star or any of that.,just a musician playing his instrument the best he can and having the most fun........he has chosen a certain style of playing and tone that makes him happy and he is at the top of the pack. take care to all gill
