Hi guys, I just got my hands on a Voodoo Vibe. It sounds so nice and deep, it makes my guitar goes 3D, like the new movies
Just wanted to ask some help in tweaking the knobs and get a good starting point or simply ask which particular setting you guys use the most and why, so to have a general idea.
I really love the trem mode, I suppose only because I'm pretty used to that kind of effect even though a proper vibe sound is probably better in chorus mode?!
Thanks in advance |

Cool setting man! They're pretty slow and in the second one you can't really tell if the vibe is on, really great! I prefer faster settings tough, at least I tend to use faster ones.
Just a little question about the third setting: am I wrong or it's almost an on\off type of sound? I mean it's like you're swelling with your volume? |

The Trem setting I go from the middle position to the 3rd position on the classic side according to the song. It's a little swell/choppy effect. Like a good tremolo should be. lol
The Vibrato setting's intensity varies from 9:30 to 10:30. It's perfect for that subtle always on effect. |

Now I've had it for a little while and the settings I seem to like best is:
Chorus Mode:
Rate - Classic middle position
Speed - varying
Intensity - 1-3 o'clock
Symmetry - 12 o'clock
Bias - 12 o'clock
Output - 3 o'clock
Vib Mode:
Rate - Classic middle position
Speed - varying
Intensity - 1-3 o'clock
Symmetry - 12 o'clock
Bias - 12 o'clock
Output - 3 o'clock
Trem Mode:
Rate - Classic fast position
Speed - varying
Intensity - 12 o'clock
Symmetry - 12 o'clock
Bias - full
Output - 3 o'clock
These are the most useable effects, but toying around with the symmetry, Bias and modern rate modes i can get som really nice none ordinary tones too. |
