Well, to be real honest they are not a fast mover. Some of the early ones were decent but I still don't think they are getting a lot of $$. I have seen them sit at $700, and listed for over a grand...

Personally with that in mind I would need to play it and feel it out. If it were built by Gene Baker, it would be a different story.

Good luck with the sale though.

It's hard to say from just a photo. Have you looked on eBay to see if there's one there? Sometimes there is. You might also visit Fender's customer shop. They still build that guitar, I believe, as a custom shop only item. I think the last time I looked, the new ones were selling for around $7k. That should give you a general idea, but as I said, yours may be worth more or less.

I stand hugely corrected. I failed to look at the details on your model. The plain model is what I was referring to. Those appear under $1100. I have watched two on two different occasions that were the "right" year sig models and they were asking double that.
My apologies, I need to slow down. Again though, I don't know what the magic criteria is for the year distinction. I would trade you an LP for it though!! (:

I bought this guitar for about $ 2200 and if one day I will decide to sell it, certainly not at a price more low.

Ironic considering the one Robben played for all those years was made in Japan. Smile
