If so...
New release with Bill Evans is really good, BUT...somebody please take that DA*N POS...uhhh...POG pedal away from him! I can't even listen to songs with that thing anymore. It's like listening to the cheezy tones of the '80s only now we all know better.
Weird...it's not even mentioned on the RF website...that I could see. I found out by accident.
Anyway...still diggin' the tunes (that don't have the...you know).
If this place doesn't still exist...at least I feel better having vented.

Well, not much activity, for sure...

I totally agree with you about the POG, it's kind of ruining the experience for me.
I saw him live a year ago, and he was already playing it.

Apart from that, the Evans/Ford CD is quite pleasant indeed, easy to listen to, with some nice solos and tones.

I'm going to see him on 1/24 here in Atlanta...I am tempted to bring a hammer and throw myself on that grenade for the greater good Laughing For the record...I will not do that.
Agreed about the new one...I like everything on it except the POG and one tune with some dude doing not-very-good vocals at the end that seem to drone on forever...whhooooo hooooo...or something to that effect. The playing...is its usual inspiring self.

I think that's Bill Evans himself singing.

Ooooooh...he should stop doing that. Laughing I think if it didn't go on for as long as it does...it wouldn't be so bad. This coming from someone with...lemme see...zero releases and no income from album sales.

Definitely has become neglected. Robben is active, let's get the board going as well.
