Does anyone know if the tabs from "Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - Live at Montreux 1982 & 1985," the tab book, has the tabs the way SRV played it in Montreux or the way he recorded it.

hello all,

Just ran across the board while doing some stevie searching on the net. I have been a stevie fan awhile now. I am sad to say that I didnt know much about him while he was alive. I was a bit young.lol I have to say that since the first time i heard stevie thats been it for me. That is why I wear a tat of number one on my right arm:). I dont care who they throw out, there will never be anyone that plays or played with as much passion then srv. Stevie is why i picked up a guitar 14 years ago. I dont try to be stevie when i play, even though I would kill to have that tone:). lol

Its completely true. Unless you et thhe "thin skin" finish you have a thick layer of poly grainfiller underneath.

Thanks for the post. That concert is really good. I've heard it many times. As for the Carnegie Hall show, I can't find the entire set. I do know that on a greatest hits cd I have there is Voodoo Chile and Sky is Crying which aren't on the Carnegie Hall cd. Thats all I kind find so far.

there's one at Ripley's Music Hall in Philadelphia that is a VERY GOOD SHOW. i listened to it like a thousand times and never get tired of listening to it. here's the url:
