Stevie Ray Vaughan Discussion

I bought mine new in '04. I had sort of been looking for a vintage USA Strat. I tried other SRV's but none of 'em felt right except this one. I was going to change out the pickguard to a plain black ...

How could you forget Family Style? I'd have a hard time picking a "best" album. Some of the songs on these albums weren't that good.

To rich for my blood. I don't know if any Fender Strat is worth $10'000.

I heard the song China Girl on the radio. The solo was the highpoint of the song. I think either Guitar Player of Guitar World mag did a profile of Stevie around this time maybe 1982 or '83.

Walter Trout is really good. I also buy blues compliation CD's with various artist in them.
