Hi Guys

I have a number of early bootleg recordings of stevie doing a couple of
BB king numbers "lost a good thing now" and woke up this morning"
a friend of mine swears that he is using a gib ...

I am a friend of jesse davey ( i have his guitar used on humdinger ) and also one of his super reverbs.
he and his brother robin stll have a record deal with interscope records as the davey brothers. ...

we would like to but its getting a decent enough gig to pay enough..
its 200 + miles each way..
might be worh looking into a mint tour with 2-3 gigs....

Just put a 63 pick up ( origional ) in the neck position of my SRV strat and
it really sounds sweet.
i am running it through a 67 super reverb and a ts9 with an 808 chip..... Very Happy

Anybody got a copy of an outdoor gig at manor downs in 81 or 82 called
Tornado Jam ?

Really need a copy on DVD if poss.
I will do a trade....

I am thev roadie for an SRV tribute band called COLD SHOT.
We play mostly in the north west of England , but sometimes venture further out to blues and bike festivals.

jesse davey - used to be in band from here in England called the Hoax.
Now in USA with his brother and the girl drummer from Indiginous (who he is dating ) they are called the Davey Brothers.

What i am after is the output figures of the pickups.
they are supposed to be the exact spec of stevies guitar, and i wish to have my own wound.
Have tried to get the info from fender but finding it ...

mmmm i defo agree on the not using 2 screamers together, but i reck he did use 1 quite a lot.
He didnt have the "overdrive" knob turned very high, he used it for volume , and also had tone up so it ...

Bought mine new in 95 .
had it refretted once, with jumbo frets.
run it on 13-56 guage in Eb and use it with a ts9 ( 808 spec ) ts10, fuzz face and vox wah.
Amp is a 67 super reverb and i also a a ...

( this should last for ages LOL )

Me thinks this just an excuse ( if one is needed ) to play all my bootlegs on dvd/video and cd.
I thought of this thread then realized how hard it is to choose.. ...
