Hi guys,

Do you get a muddier sound when you raise your action? Even if you tried to lower your pickups as low as possible? In general that is. Is there a way to "balance" out the sound and kill off the dirty/muddy tone? It's actually one of my problems... I kinda like the action now, but is there any adjustments I can do to get rid of the muddy sound and get back the strat tone?

Or do you guys recommend that I should change pickups to experiment? Anyone with similar experiences before? As in you get a really dirty sound after raising your action, and after adjusting your pickups it is the same?
