| I cannot say that I am yet familiar with his music but I've heard that he is a phenomenal blues guitarist - with a similar style to SRV. Any Kenny Wayne Sheppard fans here? I don't remember any posts here talking about him. Which KWS album should I buy first to get acquainted with his music? |

I'm a big KWS fan.
I've seen him in concert a few times. He is a great showman, with his OWN style on stage.
He plays very much like SRV. Stevie was his biggest influence.
Any of his older albums would be great to get a feel for his blues playing. He's not your typical boogie shuffle kind of guy, which is good for the most part.
Stay away from his new album, its not blues. It's f-ing awesome, but it's not blues at all. |
