Just wanted to come in and wish everyone a happy and food-filled Thanksgiving. I hope everyone has plenty of food, family and things to reflect back on that truly make this a blessed day.
Be sure to spin lots of Stevie on the cd and dvd player. His music goes great with pumkin pie and it will no doubt irritate the rest of your family (especially in-laws if you have 'em). Twisted Evil Laughing Cool

Funny you should mention that. I got the Austin City Limits DVD from Netflixx and cranked it up on the tv downstairs. I'll still have to sit and watch it. But, it was fun to listen before the football games.

Happy Thanksgiving, to you too.

That's funny....I guess I had too much turkey...fell asleep somewhere around 8:30 pm...and then woke up again around 2 in the morning. First thing I put on was the Austin City Limits dvd.
You're gonna LOVE it! Especially the second half.

I had to send the DVD back to netflix. The kids wanted to get something else.

This DVD is perfect. It provides bookends for SRV's career. From Texas Flood to In Step.

There must be more footage from these shows. The Austin City Limits folks should really consider re-releasing them.

Lee...
I want to say I saw this on one of the SRV yahoo groups...but someone claimed to have 30 additional minutes of out-take footage from the ACL performance. Not sure if it was from the first one or the one from 89. Maybe both.
I have a friend who is up on all that stuff so I'll ask her when she gets home from work.
