A mate of mine gave me a poor quality bootleg video of Stevie from around the time of Couldn't Stand the Weather. Unfortunately, it's not the whole show and many of the songs cut out in the middle, as well as the camera veering wildly around the room. What is there, though, is pretty good. Jimmie sits in on Cold Shot and Things That I Used To Do before Stevie brings out Angela Strehli for a couple of numbers. For the encore, Jeff Beck comes out with a pointy, pink Jackson with three single-coils, plugs into a Marshall and gets the worst tone of his career, particularly in comparison to SRV and Jimmie. They play a few instrumentals - Wham and a couple of other classics whose names escape me - Strehli comes back and then the screen goes blank.

Any idea about when or where?

I had this video in VHS. It's from the CBS Record Convention 1984.

Thanks a lot guys! The CBS record convention is definitely the show. I think my mate only taped the guest portions for me or something, because there's nothing from the first half of the set and Third Stone cuts out halfway through before going into the Jeff Beck jam. Soul Taker do you still have this or know where I can get a copy?

Cheers

Salty

Hi man!, your welcome. I bought it here, in Argentina, but it's also incomplete.
I think this show was ready to download from eMule.
