I've been checking out this new Komet amplifier. It was designed by Ken Fischer (Trainwreck Amps) before his untimely death. It has more gain than the Chicago Blues Box Roadhouse that I’ve been using, but I am looking for a more versatile amp.
What do you guys think? I want to retain a pseudo SRV tone. Do you think the Komet is too different?

Funny that i did not check the poll and chose the same choice as you too, like the forum these days is very quiet so dont know if you will get many picks or not?.
Also i dont know all the know how of amps etc...,just the names of some and effects SRV used so cant realy help out to much and the sound parts im trying to listen too are not going, maybe due to my dial up speed on the pc.I will have to try and listen to it another time, but for the srv tone you my aswell stick with the similar amps etc.. if you can get them. _________________ Christopher X |
