is this true, are the american vintage strats just fake laquer finishes???

i heard this and it made me alittle bit mad...

i heard there is a nitro finish on the top but underneath is just some poly!??!?!

........someone give me there opinion

Its completely true. Unless you et thhe "thin skin" finish you have a thick layer of poly grainfiller underneath.
