I am looking for a booster. I have tried several, Zvex,Seymour Duncan,Xotic RC, MXR. It's between the Fatboost and the Bad Bob, any impressions/opinions would be helpful

I use the Fatboost and the RC Boost - love them both. The RC gives you a EQ control and a touch of gain. The Fatboost is pure clean boost.

Hey Voodoo,

The Bad Bob (IMO) is one of the best one knob clean boosts available. Its a HUGE sounding pedal, IMO.

The RC Boost works great with humbuckers, but it doesn't add the fatness that the Bad Bob adds. To me, the RC sounded thin and wimpy when compared to the bad bob. The RC is an awesome pedal, but for adding some thickness to single coils, the Bad Bob would be the better one, IMO.

I can't comment on the Fat Boost. It seems everyone that owns a FB loves it though!

Here's a clip of the BB..

And another one where I click the BB on and off. Its played through a dead clean Vibroverb.

I was a little underwhelmed by the RC. It's a great pedal, I just want something to fatten up my clean lines. I 'm gonna try the BadBob next.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the Bad Bob. It definitely is fattener pedal. Plus Ronnie Wallace is the man, real nice fellow.

The BadBob is exactly what I am looking for. Initial "honeymoon" impressions are favorable. Thanks for tip TT

No problem Voodoo, I hope it works out for you.

Its one of those "hard to turn off" pedals for me. I tried living with it in favor of the RC Boost, but once I put the BB back on the board, I knew that it should'v been there the entire time!
