For sale is a Strat project I have lost interest in. $675.00/neg.

Body: 2007 MIJ '62 ReIssue painted in a quasi-Clapton motif w/ matching pick guard.

Neck is a 2007 Mighty Mite Fender-licensed 22-fret V-neck with a thin finish and nut. Maple board, 9.5" radius.

Pickups: 3 Torres hand wound, shielded and matched. Neck/mid Torres Blues model, bridge Torres Rock model w/Fralin bottom plate. Black covers.

Pots: 1 volume CTS/Torres w/treble bleed capacitor so you keep your tone when you turn down. Tone; 2 Torres/CTS 'magic tone' pots with .033 caps for more agressive tone management.

Decal: Pre-CBS style Fender Stratocaster/original contour body decal to make it look finished. (I hate bare headstocks)

Needed to finish: Tuners, Neck plate and screws, output jack and cover, bridge, knobs (black), bridge cover, strap buttons, pick guard screws, pickup selector and cap (black). All available from http://jcguitars.com/ online for about $180.00 if you go all Fender.

So for $855.00 plus an afternoon with a solder gun you will have a killer sounding Strat to rival anything out there at any price with a custom paint job to boot!!

Will post pics if asked.

Sorry for being almost a month late, but I am interested in pics of the guitar/finish. What finish was it originally? Bone nut, or plastic on the neck?

Thanks in advance.
