On Ain't Gone 'N' Give Up On Love, there's an edit there where he goes from playing Number One to Charley. Does anybody know why that happened? Did he break a string or something and they just edited that out? I can see why they'd do that, because that solo is one of his best in my opinion.

its probably because he broke a string and the guitar went severely out of tune. that could be why.

I noticed that too, and im guessing that they did have to edit something out because you can hear him constantly playing while it shows reese on the piano, and then all of the sudden he is using charley, and he used charley for almost half of the show. Could he have broken a trem bar and got it stuck by any chance....

Totally unrelated question....

The book caught in the crossfire mentions some thing like "by the time he got to his third montreaux appearance in 1985".....

Now i thought he only did montreaux twice, 82 and 85

Anyways this has become a major arguement between me and my dad, so any input here would be helpful...

Cheers
