Ak - Albert King.
Stevie was at his best around this time; I think he deliberately held back a bit; Albert was clocking on a bit and past his prime; If you get the LA or Canadian live CDs from this era Stevie is really something else.
He does some AK stuff (Crosscut Saw) and Albert Collins stuff that just makes your jaw drop. Also check out a track called 'Done Lost Your Good Thing Now' - he never recorded it, but its an awesome live blues. |
