No laughing in the back.....

Its a Fender FM 212R, solid state(yes im buying one), 2 12" speakers, 100 Watts, and its loud. Really though, the sound difference is not that big from a tube amp, and its a fender and thats the sound im going for. And i also dont have enough money to buy anything better in the mean time and my current amp has died on me (15W old practice amp - overworked and underpaid), and i will need to replace my guitar in the next year and a bit too. Combine this with my pedal, I have a Boss ME-50, and you can get some great tones. Ive gotten SRV, Hendrix, Clapton tones all out of this pedal, and through solid state amps.

My other problem being that i will be moving the amp around alot, and its cold here, and i wouldnt trust myself with tubes. Also im still in high school, so getting my dream amp will wait a bit.

BTW, you have a reliced squire strat. Please explain?

Hawk

That's actually a Fender Iron Maiden signature Strat Twisted Evil . They were made around '01 or '02 in Japan and I was told only about 200 were imported to the US. I absolutely love it. It stays in tune like a Floyd Rose should. It have 3 Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers in it. Not the best for blues but it's great for rock and metal.

After playing this guitar I have a new-found respect for the Crafted in Japan strats.

Since this pic was taken I put the original mirrored pickguard back on.
