Anyone know how to do that slide sound heard on various parts of Texas Flood. It doesn't sound like a regular fretted note sliding down, it's sort of high pitched and thin.

Another thing, people who use GHS Nickel Rocker .013's do you notice that the tension reduces after a short while. Does that happen with you guys? When I play D'Addario strings it doesn't happen, or...well at least not as quickly.
