I've finally registered to post after reading this board for a few days. I must say, I'm happy to have found a message board for SRV; I don't do newsgroups.
I'm an avid SRV fan, had the pleasure of seeing him live in 1987. I posess quite a few SRV bootlegs, all his albums of course, bought both the Live Montreaux DVD and CD as soon as they were released, and have the El Mocambo DVD as well.
I'm not a guitar player, but I did play the violin very well for quite a few years before giving it up for a life of decadence (ah, the good old days).  I never met Stevie personally, and don't know anyone who knew him. Just a fan with a passion ....
Anyway, thought I'd introduce myself, since I've been enjoying your pictures and I may be able to help you out in the bootleg department.
