Hmmmm, I wonder though, did Scott just acquire that 100W Marshall Plexi or is it one he's had in reserve for eons. Reason I ask is because I actually remember seeing Scott play circa 1983 in Jeff Berlin's band (as an opening act for Allan Holdsworth) at the old Country Club in Reseda CA, and Scotty was using a Marshall half-stack that night. Sure sounded nice too, big thick slicing sound!

From scotthenderson.net:

"Martin Golub at Custom Audio did a crunch mod and FX loop on an old '71 Marshall for me which I used at my last gig at La Ve Lee. It brought back memories of my youth, having not played a Marshall on stage for about 30 years... the amp sounds awesome but it's not something I want airport monkeys throwing around, so I talked to John Suhr and he may offer a version of the OD-100 cloning that circuit, transformer, and tubes. Might be cool for the players who are more into the vintage Marshall tone."

And am I the only person who noticed that the Vai banners are spelled wrong??? Wink
