Hi Scott, at this point in your development, do you still have areas on the fretboard that are more comfortable / have more "emotional attachment", or is it all the same to you?

It's all pretty much the same in a vertical way, but I feel like the weakest part of my playing is voicings using the low strings. Kurt Rosenwinkel and Ben Monder have a wonderful vocabulary of low string voicings and I wish I was more comfortable in that area. I use the low strings a lot when putting chord melody arrangements together, but I don't have instant access to them for chords as much as I'd like. I have to find more time to practice on that.
