Hi Scott. Thanks for answering all our questions, it's very helpful to us! and sorry if I pissed you off about my comment of the jan ray pedal (I tried to fix that comment fwiw)

Anyways, I know you are using the JCM2000 DSL100 live when you can't bring your Suhr SH100 amp. I saw in an interview that you said it was just ok but it's the best you can find for rent.. do you like it better than all those expensive Marshall or Mesa heads? (that I guess you could also rent internationally).
In other words, if buying an SH100 is not an option, would the JCM2000 be the next best thing for me?
Also, did you try the 50W version? I know Jeff Beck used it, and allot of people on the internet prefer it to the 100W.

Aslo, is the BAE 1073MP recommended only for guitar, or also for vocals?

Thanks!

Your statement didn't make me mad - I've just never heard the Timmy pedal and my experience with Vemuram doesn't give me the impression that they're the kind of people who would do that.

I haven't seen expensive heads for rent, especially outside the US. The options seem to be the cheaper Marshalls and Fenders. I like the DSL 2000 and have no problem getting my tone with it. It's not as warm and smooth sounding as the Suhr but it gets the job done. Note: treble at 4 on the Suhr = treble at 0 on the Marshall! The other settings are about the same. I haven't tried the 50 watt, but it probably doesn't have the headroom for some of the cleaner sounds I need on stage.

Beware of the new DSL 2000 "100H". This is one of the worst amps I've ever heard! As usual, companies feel the need for change and discontinue quality gear in favor of making crap. Congrats to Marshall for joining the Roland club.

The BAE 1073 is great to record anything!

Scott sorry for my ignorance...did you mean that Roland bought Marshall?

He might be referring to Roland discontinuing the SE-70 and replacing it with a vastly inferior product.

Vastly is a good word. Horribly would work too.
