Hi, Scott,
I've read great reviews about the axe fx and a lot musicians really diggin it. Do you think they nailed the sound? Have you tried Blackstar amps?

No, I don't think they've nailed it. That doesn't mean it's not a useful device if you want something that gives you a big variety of tones, but put it up against a real tube amp and it's no contest. I had one at my house for awhile and couldn't come close to getting my personal tone from it.

Again, this is just a personal opinion. A lot of people like Axe FX and other amp modelers - it's all about what works for you.

Sorry, I haven't heard Blackstar amps.
