Hey Scott,
Just wondering what you thought was the best sample rate to record in?Everyone always tells me something different . I have some of my sessions in 44.1 . But i would really like to know what you think sounds the best. I am also using a symphony IO . Thanks for the input . Ane please try to come back to florida! The last time you played at the orange door. And i was out of town. It killed me!! lol
Cheers
Eric

Definitely 96! I was recording at 48 for a long time because my computer was too slow for 96, and I also lacked disc space. Now I'm updated and have done A/B testing between 96 and 48 - 96 sounds more open, and has a sweeter top end. Much closer to tape! After listening to 96 for awhile, 48 sounds nasal and smaller, and I notice it on the guitar tone, not just high stuff like cymbals.
