Hi Scott
I was at the gig in Malmo Sweden (Victoria Theatre) there Jeff got ill.
After the gig my brother and I had a chat outside the venue with Gary Novak, really nice guy and monster musician.
Looking forward to the gig

Hi Scott,
Just joined the forum but have been a fan for decades.
I'm proud to say I have purchased and own all of your CDs except Spears and just wanted to say Vibe Station is amazing! To me it is the best sounding album musically and tone-wise.
I know how difficult it is to keep improving but you manage to top yourself each time with new release.
Thanks for the inspiration and joy you bring to an audiophile like myself! |

Thanks Peter! I really need to apologize about Tribal Tech X and HBC. Vibe Station was recorded at 96k and then put on half inch tape before being mastered by Joe Gastwirt, one of the best mastering engineers in the business. The other records were recorded by Scott Kinsey at 44.1, because his bullshit mastering software can't dither down from a higher sample rate. He's a good engineer, but his mastering is a joke. Instead of making audiophile quality records, we took more money. I can't give away Joe's prices, but in hindsight I wouldn't have missed that amount of money.
You'd think at my age, I wouldn't need to be ass-kicked like a student for making bad decisions, but here we are. |

Well we never stop learning and growing no matter your age don't we!
But I have to say, your super cool awesome phrasing - aside from good taste - can only be achieved from "matureness" and "mellowness" that comes with age, like fine wines... lol.
And there are certain analog technology digital can't overcome yet such as tubes and tapes.
I can't wait to hear you play live with your new trio.
Hope you can make it out to Tokyo in the not so distant future. |
