Yes, I think it's a good amp. I have an HRD, and the only difference is the DeVille has a bigger transformer and two speakers. You should know that the crunch channel and lead channel suck and are totally unusable - the clean channel with pedals is the only way to go. Since it's not a master volume amp using the clean channel, my trick is to turn the volume up to 7 or 8 and put a volume control in the FX loop - that way you can use pedal distortion along with some preamp distortion too.
I'll chime in here real quick because I have a "Landau Inspired" deville and it sounds AWESOME!!! The speakers are celestion V-TYPE. There's a great effects loop, no master volume just 2 volume controls and a boost but it's really a great amp! Worth looking at for sure!
