I posted a few weeks ago that I bought the new Badger 35 and its matching cabinet(front ported)

One day, I drank too much and bought Bella and
used unloaded KW 1x12 and 2x12(off-axis)
(And still searching for 4x12)

Now I'm on the journey for speakers

I'm a hardcore Landau fanboy and thought G12-65 first,
But now there's your gorgeous tone with greenback but I'm not really sure it goes well with 2x12

And obviously it's 25W and I can't use with 1x12

Scott, what do you use for your 1x12 and 2x12?

I guess it depends on how loud you play - if you're using a loud amp like the Bella, it would be dangerous to use Greenbacks in a 2x12, but it would be fine with your Badger. Rick Skillman at Celestion says the Heritage 65 is their high wattage speaker which sounds the closest to a Greenback - I don't like the 65 very much, so I have Greenbacks in my 2x12, and I use it with my 100 watt Marshall - I just have to be careful about how loud I turn up the amp. Since my Marshall has a master volume mod, it's not a problem to turn it down a bit from the volume I use with my 4x12, but with an amp like the Bella which requires you to crank it more to get it crunchy, you might be better off with 65's. Or, you could play the amp clean and stack pedals to get your gain, which is what Mike does with cleaner amps.

You could check out a scumback h75 ld too.

I tried a celestion g1265 but I thought the h75 ld was a little nicer sounding. It’s what Jim at scumback recommends for 1x12 open back cabs.

His higher power greenback clones are nice too. The m75.

Darker then a real greenback but with a 2x12 they are nice.

But Landau loves the 65s and I think Scott likes g1265 more then scumback(not sure) so what the hell do I know—ha ha
