Hello Scott,
I am another of your victims, or better a victim of your clips.... I bought a Fuchs ODS last year and so far do not regret it, it´s just great!
I have a somewhat technical question to somebody who has opened already a lot of Fuchses...
How difficult is it to change the "Reverb" footswitch function to a midboost? I usually leave the reverb always in the same position, but would love to have the midboost switchable.
Now the problem is that there is only one dealer in Germany and he is at the other side of the country. I would really hate to ship the amp for a small thing around by UPS or similar destruction services. I have some experience with soldering and things tend to work even after I messed around with them. Does this involve just switching one wire in the ODS or is more involved? Would you perhaps have a Do it Yourself recipee for such a mod or is it too complicated? I would really appreciate some comments from somebody with your experience!
Greetings from the other side of the pond,
mact

Hi Mact!

The switchable midboost or tonestack bypass is an easy mod. You should contact Andy. You most likely need to install a relay on your tonestack board and move one wire. But, Andy could give you the correct answer as well as any parts you may need.

Email me offline when you get a sec.....

Glad you dig the amp!

Scott
