hi scott

i'm hoping that you or one of my fellow SL devottes can help ...

i can't quite figure out the chords/intervals to the little instrumental section right before the guitar solo in the Steely Dan tune 'Josie' from the Aja album ... i have figured out the 'rhythm' guitar part that is doubling the bass, but not these chords/intervals ...

here is what i have so far (please imply the rhythm from radio memory )

E --9---10---10---9--7--
B -10---12---12--10--7-- <== dunno if that red note should be 8 or 7
G --9---11---11---9--7-- <== dunno if these purple notes are in or not

E --9---10---9--17--
B -10---12--10--17--
G --9---11---9--14-- <== dunno if these purple notes are in or not

and dunno if there are notes on the G string as well to make these three note chords

would any of you be able to provide some assistance?

thanks in advance

t4d

Hi t4d,

Sorry to take so long. I had a major job change this week as I switched companies that I work for in my day gig.

I'll try and check this out for you sometime later tonight.

Thanks for being patient!

Scott
