As soon as I registered, someone hacked in and started spamming this forum with porn links, using my username, khpro.

This is not me doing this! If it cannot be cleaned up in 24 hours, I will request to close this account, which is a real bummer because I had Emminence discussions to post....

Sorry about that abrupt intro, but I did not want my username attached to porn links for obvious reasons...

I'm a producer/engineer. Predominately acoustic records and usually good for one mainstream country record/yr. (I'd love to do more...)

I came into this by way of playing guitar. I don't really make money playing electric guitar, so the funds usually go for something in the pro audio world.

My closet passion is to record an electric guitar jazz record. I've got one slated for the fall. Current electric gtr gear:

Custom Guilford 22 (Les Paul like w/ 2 Fralin HB)
Fender 50th Anniversary Mexican Strat: w/ all new electronics and wiring (Van Zandt Vintage Plus SSS pups)
G&L ASAT Tele (stock)
Hamer ES-335 copy

Andy Fuchs modded Bassman head to ODS
H&K 112 Closed back cab w/ V30
Yamaha SPX90II
Yamaha GEP50
Teese Picture Wah
Boss TU-2
Fulltone Supa-Trem
Line 6 DL4
Boss Blues Driver (w/ Brent Mason mod)
Boss SD-1
Boss CE-2 (w/ Leslie mod)
Boss CH-1
Guyatone Delay
Tim (overdrive/boost pedal)
Tonebone Classic
Seymour Duncan SFX-03
Barber Tone Press
Maestro Tremelo
Voodoo Labs Power Pedal 2+

I just stumbled across this forum again and I saw my 2yr. old post.
That gear list has changed a bit since the last posting.

Part of the fun for me is building/tinkering with the electronics. Lots of projects on deck right now including many of the billm mods on a Fender Blues Jr.

I'll be documenting this, some strat rewires, pedal mods, etc... on my upcoming blog at http://kennyholloway.com.

I hope to provide video/audio samples to do some comparisons with different preamp tubes and speakers after the Blues Jr. mods. I've got the Eminence Cannabis Rex, stock Fender speaker and the Weber 12F150 (light dope) slated for comparisons. I may also round up a Jensen and a Greenback. Should be lots of fun.
