What are the specs of the Wolftone pickups you use?

Wolfe custom wound those. They are similar to a PAF output. I think the neck is around 7.8k and the bridge 8.1k. THey are very clear and articulate. However, in my light and low output Baker RF (spruce top and hollowed alder body) I had to switch to a much hotter bridge pup.
I put in a Dimarzio Vrtual Hot PAF and it is awesome! 20% hotter and 9.3K resistance.
Calling Wolfe or Steve Blucher at Dimarzio is a good idea. Both guys know their stuff. _________________ www.scottlernermusic.com |
