Hi Scott,
I'm new here - found your website recently and have enjoyed listening to your mp3s. Great stuff.
I'm working on Wayne Shorter's Footprints and wondered what ideas you have for bars 9 and 10 - it seems anything will fit over these chords, so I put in a few chromatic lines.
Aebersold's chords - are they correct? He has F#half-dim, B7#9, E7#9 A7#9#5 (Eb7+11). Not quite what I hear on Miles's old recording.
A wonderful piece, which obviously you love as well.
Cheers,
Rob
PS Anyone else want to chip in ideas? _________________ www.rmguitar.info |

Hi Rob,
Thanks for posting. I'll check it out later but the ii-Vs seem correct I think. I usually just treat them for what they are and use ii-V ideas. I'll see if I can record a new take later today or tomorrow. I haven't played over this for some time!
